# I get an error during the deposit

An error while depositing almost always comes from one of two things: your wallet does not have enough gas to pay the network fee, or the transaction was never confirmed in the wallet. Both are on the wallet side, and both are quick to check.

1. **Check your gas balance.** Gas is paid in the network's own coin: BNB on BNB Chain, ETH on Ethereum, SOL on Solana, and so on. Holding USDT alone is not enough. For a deposit from a Web3 wallet, 10 to 20 cents of the native coin is usually enough. Gas goes to the blockchain, not to Dexsport.
2. **Confirm the transaction.** After you click "Add Funds", the wallet asks you to confirm. The window can open behind the browser or wait unopened in the mobile app. Open the wallet, find the pending request, and confirm it. If you closed it earlier, the deposit was not sent.
3. **Check the network.** Make sure your wallet is switched to the same network that is selected in the currency and network selector in the top right corner of the platform.
4. **Check the amount.** From a Web3 wallet on a network it supports directly, the minimum deposit can be just cents, about $0.10. When you top up the platform's internal wallet instead, the minimum is about $2.
5. **Reconnect and retry.** Disconnect the wallet, refresh the page, connect again, sign the signature request, and repeat the deposit.

## If the error keeps repeating

Write to support in the platform chat and send:

* your nickname;
* the transaction hash, if the transaction reached the blockchain at all;
* the token, the network and the amount;
* the exact error text, or a screenshot of it.

If there is no hash, say so directly. That already tells the agent the transaction never left your wallet, which narrows the check down straight away.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://dexsport-3.gitbook.io/dexsport-docs/troubleshooting/deposit-error.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
