# Quick start: your first bet

Four steps: register, deposit, choose a section, place the bet. Nothing else is required, there is no KYC and no document check.

## Step 1. Register

Go to dexsport.io and click **Sign Up** in the top right corner. Register with email, Google, or Telegram, or connect a Web3 wallet using the QR code or WalletConnect. If you have a promo code, enter it during sign-up. Right after registration you choose your Welcome Bonus: Sports or Casino. The choice can be changed later on the Promotions page, before each of the first three deposits.

## Step 2. Deposit

Open **Deposit** from the top right corner, from your profile, or from the Wallet section. Select the token and network you want, enter the amount, click **Add Funds**, and confirm the transaction.

Make sure the network you send from matches the one selected on the platform. A network mismatch is the most common reason a deposit does not arrive. If you deposit from a Web3 wallet, keep 10 to 20 cents of gas in it.

The minimum depends on the method. From a Web3 wallet on a network it supports directly it can be a few cents, around $0.10. When you top up the platform's internal wallet instead, the minimum is about $2.

## Step 3. Choose a section

Sports, Esports, Casino, or Prediction Market. Your balance and bets are held in the token and network selected in the top right corner, so check that the pool shown there is the one you funded.

## Step 4. Place the bet

Pick an event, click the outcome you want, and it goes to your betslip. Enter the stake and confirm. The minimum bet is $1 or the equivalent in your selected currency. Click **MAX** to see the largest stake allowed on that selection.

Bets settle within 20 minutes after the event ends. You can find them under **My Bets** in your profile.

One thing to know before you withdraw: every deposit has to be wagered, with or without a bonus. In sports and esports that means bets at odds of 1.3 or higher, and each settled bet makes its own winnings withdrawable. In the casino it means playing the deposit amount through once on slots (x1), or twice in live casino and other games (x2).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://dexsport-3.gitbook.io/dexsport-docs/getting-started/quick-start.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
